Our "first-born" olive oil, NOAN Classic, comes from the unspoiled Pelion peninsula in the eastern part of mainland Greece. Pelion enjoys a very special reputation: a delightful Mediterranean landscape with secluded coves, lush forests and friendly people, ideal for explorers and connoisseurs who like to stay off the beaten tourist track.
The area is almost entirely covered with olive trees, most of which carry the "Amfissa", a medium-sized, round to oval olive with fine firm flesh – the fruit that is used to make our delicious NOAN Classic.
The Greeks know how to enjoy life to the full! Friendliness and joie de vivre combines with fine dishes and drinks shared with loved ones – a lifestyle that you can taste in our NOAN Classic. Thanks to its balanced bouquet of elegant bitter notes paired with a fine sharpness, Greek NOAN Classic olive oil goes particularly well with Mediterranean dishes.
NOAN tip: Try our NOAN Classic with:
- white meats like chicken, turkey, duck and game birds
- fine fish such as sole, cod and sea bass
- salads and vegetables
- fruit such as banana or strawberry, or mango or lemon sorbet
